No. Stainless steel contains chromium which gives the metal it's stainless property, it doesn't oxidize or rust.

Can I wear stainless steel jewelry to the beach, pool and in the shower?

Yes, stainless steel is incredibly durable and waterproof. Unlike silver, it can't oxidize so it it safe to wear in the ocean, pool & shower.

What can I use to clean my stainless steel jewelry?

Most cleaning products are safe to use on stainless steel, you can mix baking soda with water, toothpaste & water, dishwashing liquid, or hand soap. Using a gentle cloth is recommended.​

 

How often should I clean my jewelry?
